Della MaryGARLANDIt is with deep sadness that we wish to announce the death of Della Garland at the age of 91.
Della moved to Lichfield in the late 60s before moving closer to her daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren in Surrey in 2021. She loved the city and had many close friends and wonderful neighbours.
A former infant school teacher, Della was kind and compassionate, always ready to help or talk to anyone she met.
Della passed away peacefully on Tuesday 4th February at her care home in Walton on Thames with family at her side.
In keeping with her wishes, Della's ashes will be scattered at Streetly Crematorium, reunited with Harry, her beloved husband and her parents, Doris and James.
