Former member of Marple Ramblers, Scottish Country Dancing and Bridge Club. Retired adult education teacher and lab technician. Born Newport, Monmouthshire, 26 July 1928, daughter of Douglas and Ida Macfarlane. Raised in Reading. Beloved wife of Harold (deceased 2012). Long loved mother of Ian, Neil and Nigel, she cherised daughters-in-law Amanda, Julie and Helen. Hill walker, cook, needlewoman, genealogist, theatre-goer, gardener, baker of cakes for well-loved grandchildren Chloë, Nick, Sarah, Tom, Jasper and John. Funeral at Beetham Hall Crematorium, Milnthorpe LA7 7BQ, 3:30pm June 12th 2023.
