Derek CharlesFORDFormer band leader and trumpet player of the "Ford Jones, Dixieland Jazz Band" Sadly passed away on Monday 10th May 2021, at the Royal Derby Hospital, aged 80 years. With his beloved fiancée "Pol" at his side after a long illness bravely borne. Devoted brother of the late Trevor, father to Mike and Neil and the late baby Andrew. Derek will be sadly missed by his many friends in Greece and England. "Peace, at last, for a lovely man" A funeral service will take place at Boulton St. Mary's on Monday 7th June at 1pm.
