Chris was a great guy and a fantastic tutor. He genuinely cared for his students and it was with his motivation and encouragement that I was able to go on to achieve my goals of getting a job in the games industry. Chris made a huge, positive impact on many people's lives and he will be sorely missed.

I’m so saddened to hear this news. I had the pleasure of teaching Chris to drive and it will come as no surprise to those who knew Chris to learn that he passed his driving test on his first attempt with zero driving faults. That’s how Chris did things, whole souled. A gentle, kind man, I learned a lot from Chris. My thoughts are with Kimberley and Claire and little Esme and all the family, I’m so very sorry for your loss.

I've known Chris for about 7 years and was taught by him for 3 years. So, it came as an emotional shock to hear he, unfortunately, passed away. Chris was always very supportive, kind, honest, fair and gentle; I respected him all through the time I have known him. He helped me get to where I wanted to be and helped me overcome a lot of hardships and dark times. For that, I am eternally grateful to him for being that light in the shadows of darkness. I would not be where I am today without people like him. He didn't really feel like a tutor to me, but a dear friend. We always had a good laugh and fun times together. Experiencing the course he taught was the best years of my life and knowing I meant a great deal to him as well touches my heart. It's very sad he had to go and that Interactive Media course will never be the same, but his mind, soul and spirit will live one forever within each and every one of us. He is gone, but will never ever be forgotten.

Chris was a great soul always happy, very supportive, a great teacher at college, left a positive mark on all our lives and he even knocked my animation set half way through filming :’) even left his mark there, never forgotten. A massive loss and lots of love to his family through these shocking and unbearable times. But we have lots of memories to keep him alive x
