EricEARLEEric Earle died on December 23, 2021. Born on 27 November 1925 in Enniscorthy, Co Wexford, Ireland, Eric William Despard Hemphill Earle passed away in his home of 60 years in Guildford, eight months after the loss of his beloved wife Auriol. Loving father of Wendy, Jennifer, Roderic and Patrick, Grandfather of Chloe, Samuel, Joe, Rosa, Niall, Hannah and Eva, loyal friend and devoted relative to many, who all mourn his loss but celebrate the warmth, generosity, good humour and fruitfulness of his long life. Eric's funeral service will take place at 1.30pm on Monday 24 January at St Mary's Church, Quarry Street, Guildford GU1 3RR. Immediately after the funeral Eric's body will be taken for a short committal service at Guildford Crematorium, attended only by family members.
