AndreDUMONT-HOPKINSIt is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Andre Dumont-Hopkins, beloved son, brother, uncle, and nephew, who left us unexpectedly on March 7, 2025, at the age of 55.
Born on May 3rd, 1969, Andre was a cherished member of his family and community. His warm heart, generous spirit, and sense of humour brought joy to those who knew him. Andre's deep love for his family was evident in everything he did. As a son, he was a source of pride and unwavering support. As a brother, he was a steadfast companion and protector. His nieces and nephews will forever remember him for his playful nature and the love he showed them. Throughout his life, Andre formed strong and lasting bonds with his family and friends. His kind, easy-going personality made him a friend to all who met him, and his loss leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. Though Andre's time with us was far too short, his memory will live on through the stories and laughter he left behind. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Andre is survived by his brothers, nieces, nephew, uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends who will carry his memory forward with love.
A service to celebrate Andre's life will be held at St Margaret's Church, Penylan on 16th May 2025 at 11am, followed by cremation at Thornhill Crematorium at 12.30pm.
Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, may be made to lymphoma-action.org.uk, which was close to Andre's heart.
