WalterDOUGLAS(Walkergate, formerly of St. Anthony's) On 5th April, aged 82 years. Walter, dearly loved brother of Joan and the late George and Tom and sadly missed by all the family. Was privately cremated at the West Road Crematorium on Tuesday 14th April. A memorial service to be held at a later date. Donations in lieu of flowers may be sent if desired to St Oswald's Hospice, Regent Avenue, Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE3 1EE. R.I.P.

Will always remember Walter from my early years. Especially the the 3 of us (with Bernard) touring Ireland in 1965. Walter always carried an unworn right hand black leather glove. Had some great times at St Anthony's Youth Club in Walker. RIP Walter.
