Carol ElizabethDIXONIt is with great sadness that the family has to announce that after a long illness bravely borne, Carol of Kirton in Lindsey passed away peacefully at Scunthorpe General Hospital on Friday the 7th of March 2025.

A loving and much loved wife of Alan, devoted and proud mum of Ben, much loved daughter of Enid and Bill, loving sister of Mark, much loved daughter in law of Alan and Sybil, much loved sister in law, much loved auntie.

Carol will be deeply missed by all those that knew her.

A service will take place at Woodlands Crematorium Scunthorpe on Monday 24th of March 2025 at 12 noon.

Family flowers only please, donations in Carol's memory to the M.S. Society may be made following the service. Funeral arrangements by: F S Machin Funeral Director 5 March St, Kirton-in-Lindsey, Gainsborough, Lincolnshire. DN21 4PH Tel (01652 632205) (Where donations may be sent)

Such a lovely lady. It was always a pleasure to visit her. There was always lots of laughs, great music to sing along to and she will be greatly missed.

Carol was always such a huge blessing to care for. Never ever a dull moment with her. How we used to laugh and joke, sing postman pat and listen to cold play every day. Will forever hold a piece of my heart. Fly high Angel🫶🏽

So sad to read Carol has passed away. I’ve very fond memories of her from our childhood she was always kind and gentle. My thoughts and condolences to her family. Rest in peace Carol x
