Such sad news and send condolences and best wishes to all Margaret’s family.

I worked with Margaret in the 80’s at Longmoor School and she was always an inspirational and charismatic headteacher. Her love for and dedication to making a difference to the lives of the children and families she worked with was incredible.
Her legacy will live on in the lives of others forever.

Margaret was a very good friend to my mum Pat Griffin, who has been trying to contact her in recent weeks. She wants me to pass her condolences to the family and tell you that she will always remember the good times. X

Sad to hear about Margaret and sympathies to the family .
I knew and worked with Margaret in 70’s and she was instrumental in changing SLD education and making it the profession it is now. It was a hard fought battle but she did it and guided and inspired the rest of us to continue the work .

Sorry to hear of Margaret's death. She was a lovely lady. I was her Deputy Head at Longmoor School and I can genuinely say she was the best Headteacher I worked with.

I learned a lot from Margaret. So many people in Education had great respect for her.
