RaymondDICKENSFormer Coldstream Guardsman. Passed away after a short illness on 18th June 2024. Aged 80 years.

Beloved Husband of the late Cecilia. Loving Dad to Sean, Ellen and Son In-Law Nick. A proud Grandad of Will and Josh. A Dear Brother to his late Brother and Sister. Uncle and Friend to many.

A service will be held in the Oak Hall, Lelley Fields Crematorium on Friday 12th July at 11.30am were everyone is welcome.

No flowers please by request, donations for Children's Make-A-Wish Foundation may be left at the service.

At Ray's request Hull Kingston Rovers colours welcome.

Ray will be missed, he became a good friend despite me being a loyal black and white, had plenty of laughs and more debates on politics RIP Ray always be in our thoughts

Ray, It’s been an absolute pleasure and an honour to have been able to call you my father-in-law. From the very beginning you made me feel enormously welcome and was always so generous with your time… I’m going to miss you popping round for a cupper and a chat, no matter what I was doing you’d always greet me with “she’s got you at it again has she Nick” and then bemoan the fact that we don’t have “proper milk” :)

Always in our hearts, rest easy mate, your going to be sorely missed xx

Ray was a true gentleman befitting of a soldier, thank you for the privilege of knowing you. You always made me smile and laugh with your unique humour and stories.

so rest in peace sir, and walk forever through the fields of flowers with the many great former robins in rugby league heaven xx
