BernardDEVINEThursday 8th April - Aged 96. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing, peacefully at home, of Bernard Devine. A much loved Dad to Jane and Gail, Father-in-law to Brian and Martin, Grandad to Ben, Sam and Kate, Brother to Maureen and Terry, Uncle and friend to many. He will be known to numerous Sutton residents and greatly missed by all, especially for his humour and love of life. Ceremony takes place at Sutton St James' Church on Tuesday 27th April at 11.30 am. Horse-drawn hearse and walking cortege will leave Tunnicliffe Road to the Church at 11.00 am for anyone wishing to join us. Afterwards a committal at Macclesfield Crematorium at 1.00pm for family members. All Donations will go to East Cheshire Hospice. Family flowers only please. With deepest sympathy to Gail and Jane and all the family, Bernard was such a nice man and had a good sense of humour he always asked me if Bob had any trousers as he always wore shorts.
