MargaretDEMPSEYMargaret Dempsey, of Whalley Drive, Rawtenstall,
passed away at home surrounded by her family on April 16, aged 72 years.

Margaret was a teacher, she previously worked at Lancashire Education Medical Services, St Hilda’s,
St James the Less and other local schools. She enjoyed singing in the church choir, playing guitar and piano,
gardening and reading. She was a member of St James the Less Folk Choir.

Margaret leaves behind her husband Mike and children John, Joe, Kate, Christine and Ed.

A service will be held on April 29 at St James the Less RC Church, Rawtenstall at 11am conducted by FR. S. Stamp.
