I met Jack in the army, a right character to be with. We lost touch for a few years but reunited when I met my future wife Maggie. We went on holiday to Cornwall and we tracked him down (haha), which was no easy feat. He was married to his lovely wife Dawn and they had Naomi & Charlotte. We were camping at the time and were rained out and in true Jack & Dawn fashion they took us in for the rest of the week. From then on we spent every holiday together at either Butlins or Mullion Cove. They treated our children Lee & Sarah as if they were their own as did we with their children. It was a priviledge to know Jack and his family.
Such wonderful times together which we never be forgotten.
Thinking of you,
Mick & Maggie.

Jack you were an amazing friend, I’ll never forget you singing the Telly Tubbies on stage at my 21st birthday. You were there through thick and thin for me and included me like a daughter, I especially loved the afternoons out with my ‘sisters’ Naomi & Charlotte.. I think we cost you a fortune!
Thank you for everything although I didnt see you much over the past few years we always kept in touch through messenger.
Rest in peace, have a cigar and listen to Queen ❤️

What can I say, a true friend who got on the stage and sang the Telly Tubbies with me on my 21st Birthday, supported me through life’s ups and downs. Jack you took me in to your heart and included me as a daughter. As a boss you were the best, encouraging me all the way. I shall miss you, not that I saw you much over the past few years but we still kept in touch by messaging regularly. Thank you for everything. Lots of love to all the family especially my closest sisters Naomi and Charlotte …. We had some great times together ❤️
