SoniaDEMETRIOUOur dearly beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Sonia (Xenia) Demetriou of Ruby's fish and chip shop in Thringstone finally gave up her 7 year battle against cancer today, 26th November 2024. We hold her close in our hearts and there she shall remain to walk with us throughout our lives until we meet again. She leaves behind her husband Michael of fifty years, five children and seventeen grandchildren. We would like to thank all of the doctors and nurses for their help throughout this difficult journey. Also a special thanks to all of her friends and customers for their kindness and support throughout this difficult time. Thank you for all the flowers and cards. Funeral service to take place at the Greek Orthodox Church of St Nicholas and St Xenophon on Tuesday 10th December 2024 at 11.00am followed by interment at St Andrews Churchyard, Thringstone. Sleep peacefully, may God rest her soul. Donations in Sonia's memory will go towards helping those going through cancer treatment at the L.R.I.
