Aww, Danté, I’ve been trying to find your page for a while, and I’ve finally come across it. I have such fond memories of spending time with you and Nana—so many stories about your life in Italy and your travels. Even though you’d repeat the same ones and we’d tease you for it, I never got bored of listening.

Your cooking was out of this world—I’ll never have a pasta dish as good as yours again! I still remember when you helped me make a volcano for my school project, using cake and sugar glass for the molten lava… it was amazing! And of course, I can’t forget the times I used to terrorise you with a basket of pegs—sitting on your lap, sticking about 200 of them in your hair and on your ears. Good times!

You always made so much effort, even though I wasn’t your biological granddaughter, and I’ll always appreciate that. I hope you and Nan are at peace together now. Lots of love ❤️😇
