Much loved husband of Judy, dearest father of Michael, Anne and Helen, stepfather of David and Rachel, proud grandfather and great grandfather. Funeral Service on Tuesday 15th August 1pm at Treswithian Downs Crematorium. Family flowers only. If desired, donations for Health and Care at Home (for the staff) or Dementia UK will be accepted by the Funeral Director, Malcolm Carveth, San Marino, Goonbell, St Agnes, TR5 0PQ (01872 552587)

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Alan. I was fortunate to meet Alan and Judy when they were applying for planning permission for Smugglers to be extended. That was just one of the many projects Alan was involved in that I became aware of.
Such an interesting, friendly and helpful friend.
I hope both Judy and Helen are well, I miss you both.
