He leaves behind Marion, his wife of 56 years, his children Claire, Julie, Karl and Tina, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

I said it before and it’s very true, there are still things left to be said and done that won’t ever be. It’s been nearly 8 months since you went and we still expect you to come in from Golf or somewhere, we miss you. We remember you every day but today we remember you with Poppy crosses around the tree your ashes were spread.

Dad, your life was cut shorter than you or we expected with things left to be said or done. You have left a huge hole and you are missed more than you realise. Thank you for everything you did for us and everything you taught us. Tomorrow you complete your final journey the way you wanted and you truly deserve to rest in peace. XXX
