Florence VondelDAVIESIt is with great sadness that the family of Von Davies announces her passing on 30th April 2023 at the age of 93 years. Von passed away peacefully at the University Hospital of Wales. Beloved wife of the late Philip, devoted mother of Nigel and much loved nan of Lauren and James. Von will be lovingly remembered by all her family and friends. Funeral service to be held on Tuesday 6th June 2023 at Thornhill Crematorium, Wenallt Chapel at 1.15pm. Family flowers only, donations in lieu of flowers to Ty Hafan, directly to the charity or via www.greenwillowfunerals.com/tribues-and-donations/ 31-33 St Isan Road, Heath, Cardiff CF14 4LU. Thank you so much for choosing to support Tŷ Hafan, in memory of the late Florence Vondel Davies. 


We are so very sorry to hear about the passing of  Von . On behalf of us all at Tŷ Hafan please accept our heartfelt condolences. Von was a very special person and we can see from your Tribute page they were dearly loved by all of the family. They will be missed.



I hope you and your family take comfort in knowing that your support will extend a caring hand in our hospice and the local community – providing comfort to the many families and children that Tŷ Hafan support. Tŷ Hafan is a wonderful place full of love, laughter and cherished memories, ensuring a short life is a full life. These memories are something our families will treasure forever, just as you will treasure your memories of Von. I really hope that can give you some solace during this incredibly sad time.
