Reverend David IslwynDAVIESIslwyn died peacefully at Glyn Nest Baptist Home on Sunday morning 24th May 2020, aged 93. Devoted husband to Beti; Kind father and father-in-law to Hywel and Susan; Iwan and Katherine; Loving tad-cu to Rhys, Aled, Elidir, Osian and hen dad-cu to Ethan and Emilia; Friend and brother to Trefor, Eluned and the late Gwynne. In his time, minister at Rehoboth, Briton Ferry; Caersalem Newydd, Treboeth; Carmel, Pontlliw; Secretary to the Baptist Union of Wales and President of the Union. A private family service will take place at Llanelli Crematorium on Friday 5th of June 2020 at 2pm. A Memorial Service will be held at Carmel Chapel, Pontlliw at a later date.
