MurielDARROLL(North Shields) Passed away peacefully at home on 23rd July aged 88 years.

Muriel, beloved wife of the late Ron, devoted mam, nana and great nana to all of her children and grandchildren. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all her family and friends.

Please meet for the funeral service at 1.15pm Thursday 15th August at Preston Cemetery.

Family flowers only please with donations in lieu, if desired, to the North East Air Ambulance. A box will be available at the service.

All are welcome after the service at How Do You Do, North Shields.

I got to know Muriel when I was the local councillor and we became friends. An impressive lady who cared about her local area and encouraged me to work hard. It was a privilege to have known her.
