Rita JeanetteDALEWe are truly heartbroken to announce the death of Rita Jeanette Dale on 27th March 2025 at Lawton Manor Care Home, formerly of Bentilee and Berryhill.

Beloved Wife of the late Michael Dennis. Loved and loving Mother of Christine, Wendy, Janet, Margaret and Michael and a caring Mother in Law to the late Steve, John, Paul, Martin and Rose. Adoring Grandmother and Great Grandmother and a good friend and colleague to many.

Rita lived in Dividy Road and Tiverton Road for many years and latterly in Berryhill Retirement Village, a former Councillor and deputy Mayor for the City of Stoke on Trent. She worked tirelessly for her local communities and the City she cared so much about.

Funeral Service to be held at St Stephen's Church, Bentilee on Friday 9th May at 11:45am. Followed by the interment at Carmountside Cemetery at 1pm.

Family flowers only please, donations if desired will be gratefully received for the Stoke on Trent Food Bank in memory of Rita.

Her wings were ready but our hearts were not.

What a stalwart for the people she served. Forthright and honest. A lovely lady who was well respected.
