Kenneth John (Ken)CRUMP KENNETH JOHNaged 85 was taken from us suddenly and much too soon. He died on Monday 10th June. The brother of David, dear, dear Father of Joanne, Suzanne, Sarah & Jamie. Stepfather to Alison, devoted grandfather to Simon, Sophie and Serena. Loving uncle and great-grandfather. Re-united at last with his beloved Pat. The funeral will take place on Monday 1st July, St. John's Church Bracebridge Heath at 13.45. Followed by burial at Canwick Road Cemetery 14.30. Flowers to Co-op Portland Street please.

Ken, gone but certainly not forgotten. A decent, honourable man who lived his life as he thought it should be lived. Was a great lover of Sinatra, James Last in his mid- to latter years. Liked his walks and Sunday roasts. Kept himself trim by cycling too. Remained strong and independent for as long as he could. Last time I saw him alive was him looking on rather bemused at a singing event in a local care home.
