Patricia KathleenCRIMMINDied peacefully on 4th October 2020 aged 87 after a short illness. Pat was a Naval Historian and academic and taught history for many years at Royal Holloway, University of London. Pat was a friend and mentor to family, friends, colleagues and students and she will be sorely missed by all who knew her. A private funeral (due to COVID restrictions) will be held at St Judes's Church, Englefield Green on Monday 26th October. No flowers - donations if desired to Operation Smile and may be sent c/o Lodge Brothers Funeral Directors, 32 St Jude's Road, Englefield Green, Surrey TW20 0BY.

Sorry to hear of Pat’s passing, she supervised my BA dissertation on the Navy at the time of the Napoleonic Wars, and also introduced me the the Patrick O’Brian books! A lovely person who was nothing but supportive at my time at RHUL.
