I do not get to Erdington much since the passing of my own Mother in 2016. I knew John from the Holly Lane Club and St Thomas Club.
I came across this by accident, I'm so sorry to hear he has passed. A lovely man, always a good tale to tell and never a bad word for anyone.
Rest in Peace Sir

Whenever we think of you John we will think of you fondly and your twinkly smile. A day was always better for getting to spend even just a little time in your company.
