The obituary notice of John James COSGROVE

Our thoughts are with Barrie, Paul, Brian, Colin, Martin and Olwyn. We will miss John's trips to Australia, his humour, his love of soccer, his genuine delight in spending time with his Aussie Cousins and his generosity. His love of a good steak and a glass or two of red. He was one of the kindest and humble of men. We will miss him and at the same time we are happy that he and Celia are together again and all sadness and pain is ended for them both.

You were a legend Uncle John I have so many fond memories of your stories and your sense of humour from my childhood and I will always remember your ability to host and put on a never ending BBQ with a continuous supply of bratwurst!! Every trip to visit was always completed by a barra!!! (Bar of chocolate from the local shop) love Hayley and James, Martin and Jess and families xxxxxxx
