Christopher JCORNELL13/5/1946 - 20/2/2023 Much admired local naturalist Christopher passed away at home. The funeral service will take place at Yeovil Cemetery Chapel at 10.30am on Friday 10th March. Any cheques should be paid direct to the Charity, there will also be a collection at the funeral.

We met Chris when we had a shop in Yeovil. He would often come in as he was particularly interested in some of our shells. We became friends and I was delighted when he came to my 50th birthday party! His flat was glorious, filled to the brim with rare collections. His knowledge and enthusiasm was enchanting. He was also known for his fabulous floral shirts! A warm, interesting and highly regarded gentle man. He will be missed.

Chris was a neighbour of mine and was a great help to me when I had surgery years ago. My dog always loved going into his flat to nosey around . So sad to hear this found out today or I would of attended his funeral. He will be missed dearly

Chistopher was part of my husband's extended family. When Chris's father passed away and Chris moved to his own flat, we didn't see him as much as we used to. He was a charming man who was always cheerful and ready to talk when we met him which was usually at Nine Springs. He was passionate about nature and will be very much missed by everyone that knew him.
