Helen (Eileen)CONNORTreasured memories of Helen (Eileen) Connor nee Kelly, Auxiliary Fire Service, Rutherglen WW2. Passed away 19th April 2010 in her 93rd year. Dearly beloved wife of the late John Patrick (Jack) Connor and precious mum of the late John Douglas and of Dorothy Ellen.

"Her ways are ways of gentleness And all her paths are peace."

All missions accomplished ma'am. All present and correct. Thank you for teaching me your song 'Pennies From Heaven' - they are still coming and for the white feather. I know you are safely held in Angels wings. Until we meet again. Love Always, Dorothyxx

It's Grand National Day today mum -oh how we loved that and had a whole week of fun and excitement beforehand and a special lunch on the day.
In 2010 even I had given up on Tony McCoy the champion jockey who won everything but could never win the National but you kept the faith with him so I put on a bet for you. You were 92 and in bed very ill. I gave you the betting slip to hold in your hand.

He won.! Finally, he won -(and he has never won since mum). I was cheering and crying at the same time. The nurse was celebrating with us.You just quietly said " I knew he could do it."

Love always and forever, Dorothyxx

Happy Birthday in Heaven Mum
Love you lots and lots, Dots and spots.

Thank you for the beautiful white flower and the white butterfly when I was putting the pansy baskets in the garden-your favourite flowers.
You would have loved the football and the racing today.
Happy memories to treasure.
I hope you are singing and dancing with loved ones in Heaven and always in the light, the sun shining warm on your lovely face always. Loved ones all reunited just as we always said.

Thank you mum. You are still looking after me. I found something on the carpet yesterday. Then saw it was the last red rose from the Little Buckaroo rose bush in our garden. I had dried it before I left that house and kept it in a book. Don't know how it ended up on my carpet here yesterday. Yes, it all comes in threes as you said. The penny on the front doorstep, the beautiful silken white feather and now the red rose. You always said you would be with me every step of the way and you are.
Lots of Love Always,
Dorothyxxx
