Mum, those were our Golden Years
We shared the heartache,
We shared the tears
We shared the laughter
And the good times too
Trips to the theatre,
The pictures, the zoo
We bopped till we dropped
Round the livingroom
Our microphone the handle
Of an old kitchen broom
Then we settled into a comfy pair
Me running round
