Michael EdwardCONEYNottingham Jazz Drummer, with The Mercia Jazz Band, John Hobbs Trio, Johnny Johnstone All Stars and The Oriole Marching Band. Passed away peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by family on Monday 18th December 2023, at Ward D55, QMC, aged 86 years.

Beloved husband of Sue, and father to Samantha, Carolyn, Katie and Douglas, grandfather to Matthew, Amy, Garth, Aloka, Olivia, Sieben, Tess, Max and Meadow, great grandfather to Isaac and Theo. He will be loved and remembered always. Funeral service to take place on Monday 15th January at Gedling Crematorium, Catfoot Lane, Gedling, NG4 4QH at 1:00 pm, followed by Light refreshments and Jazz Musical Tributes at The Gedling Inn, 50 Main Road, Gedling, Nottingham NG4 3HL.

Donations in memory of Mike for Ward D55, QMC and The GreenWay Centre, Sneinton may be sealed in the box on leaving the service, left online at www.lymn.co.uk/obituaries, or sent care of
