Wendy became a friend of mine when our daughters became friends at school age 5 & they remain good friends to this day. I found Wendy to be clever, sincere, a touch avant-gard , naughtily funny, a good friend and devoted to her family.
She took the school children ages 8-9 for a holiday on the Thalatta , a huge Dutch barge, moored in Maldon and they all had a whale of a time
There was no-one quite like Wendy, she will be sorely missed.
