Margaret 'Elaine'COCKRAMCOCKRAM Margaret 'Elaine' (nee Milan) On 25th February 2025, peacefully at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary, Elaine aged 82 years.

The dearly loved wife of George, devoted mum of Julie and John, proud grandma of Callum, loving mum-in-law of the late Andrew, dear mum-out-law of Elaine and a much loved sister of the late Christine.

The funeral service will take place at Huddersfield Crematorium, Fixby on Wednesday 19th March at 11.15am.

Family flowers only please, but donations would be greatly appreciated for Dementia UK, for which a plate will be available at the service.

Bright colours to be worn at Elaine's request. Will friends please accept this intimation and kindly meet at the crematorium.

Elaine! What a truly amazing woman. She had the ability to infuse you with serenity or to make you laugh until your sides ache and tears stream down your face.
I was fortunate to have sung several times with Elaine.
Two Ladies from Caberèt always springs to mind. The fine details may have faded a little but what I hope will stay with me forever is us both laughing, before, during, and after every performance. We never did get the dance routine right.
I will miss Elaine's rich emotive voice singing Memory.
Heaven has recalled one of it's own.
Thank you Elaine you made those around you happy and never failed to make someone smile.

So sad to hear that Elaine has passed away. I first met Elaine at HRI were we both worked night duty. I followed her to NHSD many years later.She was such a kind, caring person, always a fun to be with . She will be missed by so many .
