The obituary notice of Martin CLINTON

Martin was such a lovely man - so enthusiastic and positive. Every time I met him was a pleasure, he couldn't help but infect you with his outlook, humour and friendliness.

To Avril and the family. Unfortunately, I hadn't heard about Martin's passing until today. So, my tribute is a little late. However, I want to express condolences on behalf of my wife Ann and myself. As Chair of Governors at Stockton 6th Form College at the time I had the pleasure of chairing the governor panel that appointed Martin as Principal. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and we developed a strong productive relationship and affection for each other. We often bumped into each other in town after he retired usually as he walked with Avril.

I had the pleasure to know Martin when he first became Principal in Stockton. He was such a personable and pleasant individual, and had real passion and care for his work and those around him. Rest in peace, Martin, and my most sincere condolences for all your loved ones.
