Emmeline Lucy (Emmie)CHIDLEYCHIDLEY nee Baker Emmeline Lucy (Emmie) Emmie in her 97th year, beloved wife of the late Wilfred Chidley of Rockbeare. Much loved mother of Linda, Chris, the late Roger and Anthony. Adored nanna of Stephen, Simon, Glen, Lynsey, Darrell & great grandchildren, Sam, Harry, Jack, Aaron, Ruby, Lily, Ellie, Libby, Christopher, Aiden, Kristyn-Emmeline, Romily, Danielle, Thomas and Lewis. Emmie was 'Promoted to Glory' on Saturday 22nd April 2017 at her home (her greatest wish), peacefully and with great dignity. A Service of Thanksgiving & Celebration will be held at St Mary's Church, Rockbeare on Wednesday 10th May at 11am, followed by cremation at East Devon Crematorium at 12.15pm. Donations if desired to 'Marie Curie' or 'Premier Christian Radio/Feed the Hungry' . c/o F J Luxton & Son, Funeral Directors, Ottery St Mary, EX11 1BE

A dear neighbour and good friend , a great inspiration to myself and family. Emmie had a great sense of humour, and always ready to help others . Her memory was fantastic , always had a great story to tell . We will miss her greatly . Our thoughts are with her family .
