Its well over 60 years ago but I can still remember the first time that Uncle Michael brought Elaine over to meet us in Dublin and we all loved her from the start. Auntie Elaine added such colour and fun to our lives as small children. We always looked forward to going out to their home in Dublin. She would have a feast prepared for us and party games organised for us little ones too. My deepest sympathy to Helen, David and all of Elaine's family and friends. Suaimhneas síoraí di. I have very fond memories of Elaine in Dublin when I was a girleen.
We loved to visit baby Helen, Elaine and Michael. She was lovely company, very approachable and so kind to us. And on top of all that, she was a terrific baker and would always make something to delight us.
