RutherfordCHALMERSCHALMERS On 1st August 2008, peacefully at home in Rutherford Close, Kirkcudbright surrounded by her loving family, Maureen Chalmers nee Paterson. Beloved wife of James, much loved mother of Wilson and Monica and a loving grandmother. She will be sadly missed by all her family. A dear friend to many. A wonderful lady who was very courageous and bore her illness with much dignity. Funeral service will be held on Thursday 6th August in Tarff & Twynholm Parish Church at 11.30am followed by interment in Twynholm Cemetery. All friends are respectfully invited to attend. Family flowers only please. If so desired donations to Cancer Research U.K. will be taken at the Church or may be sent to Ian Bendall, New Market Street, Castle Douglas.
