JennyCARTWRIGHTIt is with great sadness that I announce the death of my darling wife, Jenny Cartwright, at Margate hospice on Monday 28 October, surrounded by myself, Nigel, and our children Sophie, Elli & Greg.

Jenny remained calm and positive following the news in mid-September that her Non-Hodgkin lymphoma had recurred.

She will be desperately missed by all who knew her including her brothers, her cousins, her nephews and nieces, her wider family, her countless friends and, most of all, by her beloved five grandchildren: Alice, Stella, Imy, Billy and Margot.

Family and friends are invited to come and celebrate Jenny's wonderful, rich life at All Saints' Church, Westbrook on Wednesday 13 November at 12.30pm. Family flowers only please. Donations will be gratefully accepted by Pilgrims Hospice.

Rest in Peace, our darling Jenny.

We are heartbroken that Jenny has passed away. She was a treasured family friend for over 50 years.
Jenny had a unique ability to bring joy into any room, with her infectious laugh and her mischievous sense of humour. She was a compassionate soul with a heart that overflowed with kindness. She had a way of making everyone feel loved and cared for.
Perhaps most inspiring of all was Jenny's courage and strength throughout her battle with cancer. Her resilience was nothing short of awe-inspiring, showing us all what it truly means to be brave in the face of adversity.
Jenny’s legacy is one of love, laughter, kindness, and strength. She has left an indelible mark on our hearts and in the lives of everyone who knew her. Though she may no longer walk among us, her spirit will live on in the laughter she shared, the kindness she gave, and the lives she touched. We are all better for having known her.
She loved and cared for her family so very much. Our hearts goes out to them all.

Dearest Jenny, you were a gift to us all, and you will forever be remembered with love and gratitude. Rest in peace, dear friend, knowing that you made the world a better place just by being in it.
Sending much love to Nigel, Sophie, Eleanor, Greg (and their partners ) and all the grandchildren.
Love, Barbara, David, Jamie & Annie Brooks xxxx

I have only just heard the very sad news of the passing of Jenny, she was a wonderful lady and my favourite teacher at Hartsdown School. Very kind and supportive. My thoughts and love go out to all her family and friends.

Dearest Nigel and family.

What an inconsolable loss for you all.
Jenny was always and will remain in our hearts, held in such esteem as a kind, generous, loving, and mischievous friend.
We will miss her deeply but hold on to the spirit with which she embraced life, loved you all so much, and cared so much about justice, the arts, education, young people particularly and life itself.
I can see her lovely, smiling, and more often laughing face now, and that will remain with me forever.

Kerry and John.
