WendyCANTLIFFPeacefully on March 22nd, 2011 at the Douglas Macmillan Hospice, Wendy Rebecca, aged 50 years of Basford, devoted and much loved partner of Steve, wonderful mummy of Samantha and the late Sarah Lyons, beloved daughter of Mary and the late Arthur Bould, dearest little sister of Arthur and sister-in-law Shirley, much loved and dearly missed by Richard and Julia and an adored nana of Laura and Adam. Wendy was a beautiful, vibrant person who lit up the lives of many and will be sadly missed by all her family and many friends. Funeral service and cremation at Bradwell Crematorium on Friday April 1st at 12 noon. Will relatives please accept this intimation, friends kindly meet at Bradwell Crematorium. Smart but colourful clothing would be appreciated. Floral tributes welcome or if preferred donations for the Douglas Macmillan Hospice. 65th birthday ! Wow !
13 days ago, I had that age too.
We should have celebrated our 65th's together but the universe said "no".

Another year gone by my love.
It is now 64 years since you brought your light and your love into this world.
I was here 13 days before you but it took 13 years for us to find each other after that.
It feels so strange that I'm still here.
You kept me young, you promised I would always be Peter to your Wendy as long as you lived.
You were right, I was 'forever young' until you left.
You would not see me now, I have aged 30 years over the 14 years your light last shined.
As a reminder of our 1973 'meeting of eyes' in Mrs Dunn's class, here's a few lines we spoke when we read to each other from Shaw's play.
RICHARD. Do you know what they call me, Essie?
ESSIE. Dick.
RICHARD. Yes, Dick; but something else too. They call me the Devil's Disciple.
ESSIE. Oh, Dick!
RICHARD Now, now: come, come! I don't mind being hanged; but I will not be cried over.
ESSIE. No, I promise. I'll be good.

Another year my love.

I'm still here.....just !

Health ...erm....maybe I won't be able to do this for your next birthday.
