ArthurBURGESSIt is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Arthur Burgess, affectionately known as "Arch" on the 13th of July 2024 at the age of 87.
Arthur will be dearly missed by his darling wife Betty. Arthur was a much-loved father to Susan, Trevor and Andrew. Arthur was a caring grandfather to Michelle, Kevin, Chloe, Katie. And a great grandfather to Warren, Abbey, Maddyson, Scarlett and Avaya. Great great grandfather to Lewis.
Arthur's warm presence, humour and love touched the lives of all who knew him, leaving an indelible mark on his family and friends. A true gentleman who was selfless in his care of others and was full of life and fun. Arthur dearly loved his family. His love and memory will endure in our hearts forever.
A Funeral service will be held at St Basils Church Hough Green on Monday 5th August at 11:30am followed by a committal service at Widnes Crematorium for 12:30pm. Refreshments will be served at St Basil's Club after the service.
Anyone who wishes to attend can do so. Donations for the benefit of Macmillan Cancer Support will be gratefully received in lieu of flowers.
