Passed away peacefully at home on 21 February 2025, aged 79 years.

Malcolm was a well known local musician formerly of Rub-a-dub-jug and Y Moniars.

He was a dear friend to many and will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.

A celebration of his life will take place at Bangor Crematorium on Tuesday 25th March at 11am.

Donations in memory of Malcolm will be gratefully received towards Macmillan, Cats Protection, RSPB and RNLI.

Malcolm had an eye for spotting a perfect present. Once he brought me a vintage French madeleine tin … he scrubbed it for days and brought it round gleaming! Not for my birthday or Christmas but just because he knew I’d love it. I was fond of him and we had a lot in common. I played hundreds music sessions with Malcolm over many years and I liked him very much. We had a great Christmas Day together this last year…..I’ll miss him. Rest In Peace my friend x
