Sitting in Spain with Finnish friends talking about my cancer operation in 2005 and the Finnish surgeon who completed the operation and I googled David to tell them about this amazing man who looked after me for 10 years and I found out about his passing. Ironically it was 10 years of fun and friendship at all of the follow up appointments and tests. RIP David

Only knew mr browel for a short while as he did my operation in 2011 to remove a large cancer tumour from my large bowel.
If it wasn't for mr browel I would not be here now.
I am just so sad that I only knew a few month ago that the man who saved my life had passed away.always in my heart.never ever forgotten
I am lighting a candle for you now mr browel.xxx

I have only just discovered the sad passing of Mr Browell.I thank you for saving my life 23 years ago. It gave me the chance to see my children grow up. It’s heart breaking how ironic it is that the cruel disease cancer took you so young.
