Mr Bromley was my form teacher and choir master at Harwood Hill Junior School in the 1970s. He was loved by the children he taught and I still remember one of our concerts when we sang Fluff the magic dragon with him. No, not P*ff but Fluff, our pet name for him. It is a testament to him that 50 odd years later he still holds a happy place in my childhood memories. Thank you Mr Bromley rip x

Brian came into Abel Smith School to attend assembly in 1969. Had he not done so I would not have been teaching singing this morning. He was inspirational and full of encouragement, good values and fine musicianship. He was a natural leader and had an infectious passion in music and nature. I spent many hours in Monday in and Friday evening rehearsals, weddings on Saturdays and two services on Sundays with him from the age of 7 until 13. There is no doubt that he shaped my character and my life-long career in singing. I owe Brian Bromley much. RIP
