I was a colleague of Gary’s in Caldicot School am so sorry to hear of his passing . He showed me great kindness when my brother suffered a disastrous stroke , offering to take anything he might need to the Heath for him as he knew I visited him every night and he thought it might help me .
I will always remember his friendly smile and his support at a time when my family needed it , as well as his care and professionalism as a Deputy Head of Caldicot with pupils and staff .
I send my deepest sympathy to Gary’s wife and family and I hope the memories of many wonderful times they must have shared together will bring them comfort in the days to come.

I am so sorry to hear the passing of such a lovely genuine guy

Mr Brame was a wonderful Headmaster to me during my time in Secondary School and my thoughts will be with his family and friends always. Xxxx

So so sad, one of the nice ones, always had the time to stop and talk. Will miss you Garry as a friend and neighbour. You would sometimes jog passed our house on the way to the Plash, happy days. We will go down there when the time is right and have a cheeky toast to you. Our thoughts are with Mari, Rhys and all the family at this sad time . Ray and Lynn x
