WilliamBRADSHAWof Fairfield Avenue, Waterfoot, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, at home, aged 84. He started work as a farm labourer, before becoming an ice cream salesman, then postman and prior to retirement a dieforme maker. He loved gardening, Rossendale Harriers, stamp-collecting, jigsaws, fishing and table tennis. He also enjoyed watching sport on TV. He was a member of Rossendale Harriers, and was life Vice President of the group, and also a member of Lumb Valley Anglers. He leaves wife Phyllis, four children, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren together with several nephews and nieces. A funeral service took place on Wednesday, January 29, at Burnley Crematorium, administered by Rev. Rod Bevan, followed by committal. Donations, if desired, to North West Air Ambulance.
