Ronald WilsonBOWLEY(North Walbottle) Peacefully on Thursday 8th February 2024, aged 78 years. Beloved husband of the late Jo. Loving dad of Lorraine and Colin. Treasured grandad of Cameron and Caitlin. He will be sadly missed by all. Would all please meet for funeral service at West Road Crematorium on Tuesday 20th February at 2.00pm. A very sad day for me 21/10/2024 when tidying up years of family history I saw that Ron and Jo had passed away
I met Ron as a very naive new starter at Longbenton MPNI. Although only 10 months older than me he knew the way around. I left Longbenton in 1964 for the MOD Birtley but still kept up with our friendship. We were both married in 1966. Ron lived near my Grandparents in Jedburgh Gardens. When we met in Newcastle it was as if we had only just seen each other the other day. I often wondered how he and Jo were doing A super friend who looked after me in my early years after leaving school. Condolances to all the family please.
