Keith JohnBOWERS(ex Air Products Engineer) 11th January 2023, suddenly but peacefully in hospital, of Coedpoeth, Wrexham (formerly of Llangollen), aged 86 years. Dearly loved husband of Theresa Bowers. Loving Dad of Xavier, Edel, Imelda, Gerard, Austin and Ursula. Dear father in law, grandfather, brother, brother in law and uncle. Keith will be received into the Holy Cross Catholic Church, Llangollen on Tuesday 31st January 2023 at 6pm. Requiescat in Pace. Requiem Mass on Wednesday 1st February 2023 at 11am, followed by interment in St John's Churchyard, Llangollen. Donations in memory of Keith and in lieu of flowers are gratefully received towards Handicapped Children's Pilgrimage Trust - Group 155 (www.justgiving.com/fundraising/ursula-pritchard). Never 'knowingly' met Keith, but after his Funeral Holy Mass and Thanksgiving of Life service, felt like I knew him in my heart. Probably crossed paths somewhere ( maybe Lourdes, in my teens, when as a Brancardier, pushing 'HCPT' guests 'voitures' as we then called them. Or wheelchairs (with three wheels) from hotel or hospital to grotto and back. Our much preferred route, via bar 'Miam Miam'.
