John RoyBOAM“Roy” passed away peacefully at home with his loving family by his side on Sunday 5th January 2025 aged 84 years. Roy was a loving husband to Carol, a devoted father, grandad & great grandad. Roy spent many happy years with Carol running the Grapes public house in Belper when they first moved to Derbyshire where he made many friends. Roy will be missed beyond words by all his family and friends.
A service to celebrate Roy’s life is to be held at Amber Valley Memorial Park and Crematorium, on Monday 10th February 2025 at 12:00noon. Family flowers only please, donation in lieu will support the work of Parkinsons UK & Treetops Hospice Care, these maybe given at the service, online at rydefunerals.co.uk/donations or cheques made payable to “Jepson Funerals Limited” may be sent c/o Thomas Ryde & Son. Roy’s family thank you for your support at this difficult time. All enquires to Thomas Ryde & Son, Belper.
