It is with great sadness that we have to announce the passing away of John (Jacky) on 7th May 2024 aged 87. He died peacefully in Wansbeck Hospital after long, bravely fought battles against many illnesses. All with courage and dignity.

Beloved husband of wife Trudy, devoted Dad of dearest Son Stephen, loving father-in-law of Kate, devoted Grandfather of lovely Hannah and Eva and special caring friend to his brother David.

He was a loyal and understanding friend to family and friends and will be greatly missed by all.

Please meet for Service at Cowpen Crematorium on Thursday 30th May 2024 at 10:45 all welcome to celebrate his life.

Having had the privilege of knowing this lovely, gentle man, I am truly saddened to hear of his loss, and my heart goes out to my dear, dear friend, Trudy, and the wider family.
