Thomas Lucien VincentBLAIRBorn in New York City, aged 98 sadly passed away on 23rd October 2024. Professor of Social and Environmental Planning at the University of Westminster, consultant for the UN-Habitat and author. During 50 years in Hertford, Prof Blair, co-authored, Hertford Sketches - Paintings, Photographs and Canvas of Life with his wife, artist Myrtle Desmond Blair. www.hertsmemories.org.uk/content/herts-history/people/local-folk/the-blair-family-of-hertford/hertford-sketches-supports-town-art-tourism He also chaired the Hertford Civic Society town building awards. Pre-deceased by Myrtle, he is survived by their four daughters: Lucille, Katharine, Gage and Ellen, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He is remembered by Hertford friends, neighbours and Myrtle's Desmond family in America.
