Valerie DoreenBISHOPFormer Employee at Hitachi and Evans, Neath Peacefully on Saturday 25th March 2023, at her home and in the care of her loving family, after an illness borne with great courage and dignity, Valerie of Pentwyn Road, Resolven passed away. Beloved wife of Gwyn, much loved mother of Diane, cherished gran of Dale, Alex and her husband Cai, and great-gran of Myles, a dear mother-in-law of Philip and sister of Megan. Valerie will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Funeral Wednesday 12th April. Would friends please meet at St. David's Church Hall, Resolven at 2:30 p.m. for a service, followed by interment at St. David's Lower Cemetery at 3:15 p.m. No flowers by request, but donations may be made in lieu, if so desired please, to St. David's Church, Resolven c/o either Mr. Nicholas Maggs of Resolven Funeral Home, 21a Commercial Road, Resolven, SA11 4HF, or via the donation box which will be at the refreshments.
