Maureen TheresaBIRDSadly on Sunday 21st February 2021, Maureen passed peacefully away at UHW, aged 82 years. Dearly loved and cherished wife of the late John. Treasured Aunty M to Stephen, Heather, & Tristan Bird, John & Angela Parsons, Karina and family. Maureen was loved by her family, friends, and will be sadly missed by all but never forgotten. A private funeral service will be held at The Wenallt Chapel, on Wednesday 10th March 2021. Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if desired, would be appreciated for Marie Curie Hospice, Cardiff & The Vale via a retiring collection at the crematorium, or direct to the charity. Maureen was my neighbour for 34 years and became a very dear friend. She and John were wonderful to my late father Glynn who used to take tea with them every day. I will never forget their kindness to him. Maureen was an exceptional person, a firm ally, someone you could always rely on. I will miss her terribly. Rest in peace, dear Maureen. Much love, Gill.
